Happy Easter!
Sorry, I haven't taken the time or had the energy to put together a blog. But, since this morning I was awakened to the unfamiliar sound of rain and couldn't return to slumber...I decided to throw a blog together. Besides, the last blog I did was on Valentine's Day so how appropriate to blog on the next holiday? Unless, you count April Fool's day or my anniversary, then I slipped up.
In celebration of today's holiday I thought I'd show you a recent craft I put together....First you add some eggs of the plastic variety and a large sturdy piece of cardboard, lots and lots of hot glue and a 50 cent piece of thrifty Easter ribbon and a bag of Easter grass....and there you have it! One fancy smanzie Easter wreath~
This turned out rather large therefore I "loaned" it as decoration for the mail room at my office.
There are almost 200 eggs on this baby. Thus the reason it's all glued onto cardboard...to help with the weight of the eggs and cheapness factor.
Total cost breakdown...
4 bags of snap apart plastic eggs.............$8.00
1 bag of Easter grass................................. 1.50
Large cardboard (retrieved from trash). FREE
1 partial roll of Easter ribbon................... .50
glue sticks (maybe 6 or 7) ......................on hand
(and can't remember what they cost!)
Total cost 10 bucks, a Saturday afternoon, a blister from cutting out the circle from heavy duty cardboard and a couple of hot glue burns....PRICELESS?

I want to see a picture of the work area! I bet it's a mess! Looks like a messy project, but it turned out cute!
Really cute! Bet it took a lot of patience though. Glad to see you back sis!
Hope you're posting something tomorrow... it's a holiday you know.
